Rocky Mountain Rendezvous and Historic Estes Park

Saturday, September 17, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. (9 Hours)
Monday, September 19, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (9 Hours)
$85

Your tour of the gorgeous Rocky Mountains promises to be one of the most beautiful scenic tours ever taken. You will enter the ancestral Rockies and wind up the spectacular canyon to Estes Park, eastern gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Fall brings clear blue skies and crisp air punctuated with occasional snows, the elk rut and colorful fall leaves to Rocky Mountain National Park. The Aspen Gold Rush starts in late August at higher elevations and the golden leaves work their way down to lower elevations in October. The peak of color in our mountains is usually in late September. Daylight and elevation set the timing of the color season. Rain, snow, cold and wind affect the intensity of color.

In the fall, viewing the elk rut (mating season) is a wonderful opportunity to see and learn about these magnificent large animals. Almost 90% of the park is managed as wilderness, making it a great place to enjoy solitude and the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. We’ll tour the park by motorcoach visiting the most scenic spots and most interested landmarks.

Then, it’s all aboard for the return trip down to the charming and quaint mountain town of Estes Park. You will be given time this afternoon to have lunch, sightsee and browse the myriad shops, quality boutiques and art galleries.

A picture stop is made at Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies and one of the top tourist stops in the Denver area. The location of Coors Field has also been credited for spurring the revitalization of this prospering neighborhood of LoDo.

Wednesday, September 21, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. (4 hours)

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Monday, September 19, 6:40 p.m. Game Start Time
$25

Watch the Colorado Rockies in an all-American baseball game! Located in the historical part of Lower Downtown (named LoDo by the locals), Coors Field is one of Denver’s most popular tourist attractions. The Rockies were one of two expansion teams added to the National League in 1993 and despite a losing inaugural season, they won the hearts of Coloradoans and received national media attention for their record-breaking attendance. In 2007 the Rockies won the National League pennant for the first time, winning 21 of 22 games to finish out the season and make it to the playoffs.

Coors Field is a must see to anyone that visits the Denver area. This baseball stadium is in the heart of LoDo and supports 50,000 seats for its rowdy Colorado fans. It was built to accurately resemble the old- time stadiums like Wrigley Field, and at the same time cater to private events.

Let Coors Field be your Ballpark for the evening. This activity is guaranteed to be a success as your guests enjoy the breathtaking (sunset) views of the “field of dreams” and the Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Please note: Transportation is not included.
